OLDUVAI SECTION Info Research Education

During the stay in Tanzania, the field-workshop participants are involved in scientific activities, as well ad educational activities held by Italian and Tanzanian teachers.

The activities are carried out both at the Camp Leakey and in external sites selected by the organizers, and they generally include:
–  Laboratories of osteology and comparative anatomy
–  Experimental archeology sessions
–  Observation and study of existing ecosystems (flora and fauna) of Olduvai and surrounding areas (Ngorongoro, Serengeti)
–  Naturalistic illustration sessions (indoor and outdoor).
